JLT Plastic CAI / 2011-13 Mustang GT / BOSS 302

For only $299.00, the JLT Plastic CAI is the first developed air intake with a 107mm ID MAF Housing for a smoother interior. To achieve quiet operation, the housing was moved inside the tube, particularly in the center. Caps are placed so the tubes are easily removed for other purposes.

Its 4.5” tube opening is protected by the tapered flange filter with its Powerstack filtered ends. A silicone coupler provided a sleek and sexy finish while stainless clamps secure it in place. Note that no metal tubing is used here. The JLT Plastic CAI can fit 2013 BOSS 302 and 2011-13 GT configurations via the BOSS air intake manifold. Automatic Owners

While automatic cars need additional fittings (solid billet aluminum), JLT can provide you with such should you select automatic as you order.

Heat Shield

ABS Plastic Heat Shields are provided to stop engine heat whenever at low or idle speed, and can be linked to the fresh air inlet of the grill component.

Finish

OEM black textured plastic (available in various colors) is the standard finish.

Gains

The kit (after undergoing custom tuning) can provide up to a good 30+ RWHP.

Installation

Installing the kit to your car systems is easy enough using its detailed manual and online video tutorials.

Maintenance

Cleaning the filter is an important aspect for performance and longevity. You are highly encouraged to use the Oiling and Cleaning kit. It would be smart to purchase another filter so you can put it in place temporarily while cleaning the existing filter. The kit is not CARB approved.
